Mmm chewy and chocolatey

I had such a craving for chocolate chip cookies so with a little help from moo, we whipped up a batch. Super easy and made heaps. I think. They taste best warm from the oven. Say no more.

Super soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies
2 and a bit cups plain flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
pinch of salt
250g butter - must be at room temperature
1 cup soft brown sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup dark chocolate chips
1 cup white chocolate chips

Beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy
Add eggs one at a time and beat
Add vanilla extract and beat
Sift flour, salt and baking soda and mix into butter mixture in 2 lots
Stir chocolate chips through
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and dollop teaspoon fulls of dough onto this. Leave space between them as they spread.
Bake at 180 deg for 8-10 mins or until just starting to go golden.
Leave to cool on the tray for a few minutes then transfer to a wire cooling rack.
